Who are you?
Raphaël, 21, born in Villeurbanne, in the suburbs of Lyon, France. I grew up mainly in Lyon and Paris.

Can you tell something interesting about the place where you grew up?
What I like best is the quiet days of
mid-August in Paris: nobody's there (well, fewer people) and you can go
roller-skating on the large sidewalks of the Grands Boulevards without bothering anybody or anybody bothering you. I haven't spent many summers in Paris, though, but still, that's a fond memory I have. I guess it dates all the way back to middle school!

What are you doing now?
I have a self-owned company, Phase 4, doing programming and web services. Been doing that for almost three years professionally now, and for a year and a half in Holland.

When did you got the idea of starting his company ?
When did first When I went to the US, I learned to live by different standards and with a different outlook on life. That's also where I picked up my love of networked computers that eventually turned into my job…And that was on a VAX-VMS, for those of you who have an idea of what that is :-)

What is his favorite sport ?
With sailing (small Hobbycats), my favorite sports is badminton. But wait, don't start saying "it's a wussie's sport, anybody can do that on the beach during the summer". I'd like to see you propelling that terribly light and terribly slow cork (I'm not sure of the English term, I used to play at the Racing Club in Paris) to speeds up to 180 kilometers per hour…

Do you have a girlfriend ?
Well, I have the world's two most lovable women living in my house, what else could I want

What is your favorite music, movie, food, city, book and newspaper ?
Miossec is one of my favorites, with Springsteen and Radiohead (but I'm sure Chantal already put them in her list, so I'm… being French ;-) Here's the theme song from one of the few series I used to watch before my parents got rid of the TV, when I was a really small child… His name is Captain future in English! Favorite food: crique. It's a potato omelet my dad cooks sooooo well. My favorite movie? Phase four, of course!! Place? The Palais-Royal gardens across the Louvre, or maybe Glasgow… Book: Le petit prince. Newspaper: Le Monde. Politician? Hmm… Al Gore?

What do you think of this house ?
Cool place, and I love the people. My room's a bit small, but I enjoy the view!

What about your roommates ?
Chantal's bringing in new boyfriends all the time, but she always comes back home to us… Yvonne and I made sure none of them stuck around more than a few days ;-)

How can we contact you ?
Do you want to send a SMS message to my mobile phone? You can do it here. Oh and have you ever had a bad day with your computer? I do once in a while...

What is your favorite webpage ?
Favorite web page: www.imdb.com. All the movies I ever saw are in there!! And if they weren't, I could add them!!

What's your worst habit ?
I must confess a tendency to make extensive use of the tolerance of the Dutch state towards hallucinogenic, toxic and depressant substances… Don't tell my mom!!
